Corporate History

DURHAM INSTRUMENTS a division of BUCHAN INSTRUMENTS, incorporated in November of 1977, is a distributor of high quality electronic instrumentation and data acquisition and control systems across Canada.

Our head office is in Pickering, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto, which is the largest metropolitan area in Canada. Current population of the Greater Toronto Region is approximately 4 million people. Branch offices are located in South Western, Ontario as well as Montreal, Quebec.

A customer service centre is located in the Pickering Office to provide maximum support for all the products the company offers. Custom system solutions such as software and hardware integration are also manufactured at this facility. We also provide on-site technical service and support (calibration, set-up, start up) from our Pickering location.

As a company we enjoy a reputation for being well above average in our ability to provide in-depth application analysis, problem solving and support. We have a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, and find that many of our customers appreciate our efforts.
