| Data Acquisition - eDAQ & eDAQ-lite - Rugged/Mobile | | | eDAQ Rugged Mobile DAQ Sets the standard for rugged, mobile data acquisition; a stand-alone sealed system designed for testing in the harshest of environments. | | eDAQ-lite Rugged Mobile DAQ The eDAQlite is the go anywhere, test anything compact version of the SoMat eDAQ. Engineered using the same technology, the eDAQlite has similar leading-edge signal conditioning and a capacity to perform a broad range of on-board data processing, triggering, intelligent data storage, and complex computations. There is no learning curve, new software, or file formats; and systems can be seamlessly networked together. | | EBRG eDAQ Bridge Layer The SoMat eDAQ Bridge Layer (EBRG) offers 16 simultaneously sampled low level differential analog inputs through independent connectors. An extremely versatile layer; the Bridge Board works with both amplified and unamplified transducers including: strain gauges, accelerometers, pressure transducers, load cells, and other general analog signals. | | ECOM eDAQ Vehicle Network Communications Layer The SoMat eDAQ Vehicle Network Communications Layer (ECOM) offers (3) CAN device interfaces, (1) Vehicle Bus Module (VBM) interface and a GPS communications port. It is an extremely versatile layer providing a direct correlation between vehicle bus channels with physical data (analog, thermocouple and frequency) as well as GPS. | | ECPU-PLUS Main Processor for eDAQ For the system that defines Rugged, Mobile Data Acquisition, it all starts here. The SoMat eDAQ Base Processor (ECPU-PLUS) is the foundation eDAQ systems are built from. Specifically designed for these applications; input power for the system operates in a wide range from 10-60 VDC. Internal back-up batteries also protect the eDAQ from unplanned power losses or low voltage events. | | EDIO eDAQ Digital Input-Output Layer The SoMat eDAQ Digital Input/Output Layer (EDIO) is an extremely versatile layer that can measure digital inputs/outputs, pulse counters, quadrature decoders, vehicle bus, as well as GPS. The EDIO offers twenty four channels that can be used as digital inputs/outputs with twelve additional channels for wide range inputs. | | EHLS eDAQ Simultaneous High Level Layer The SoMat eDAQ Simultaneous High Level Layer (EHLS) offers 16 simultaneously sampled high-level differential analog inputs through independent connectors. Up to four EHLS layers can be added to a single eDAQ system enabling up to 64-channels. Networking multiple eDAQ’s make synchronous EHLS channel counts virtually limitless. | | EITB eDAQ Isolated Thermocouple Layer The SoMat eDAQ Isolated Thermocouple Layer (EITB) measures temperatures on 8-channels of isolated thermocouple signal conditioning. Thermocouples come in several styles of dissimilar metals, or calibrations; and the EITB is available in the four most common calibration types (J, K, T and E). Each channel has individual cold junction compensation with isolation to 500V. | | ENTB eDAQ Non-Isolated Thermocouple Layer The SoMat eDAQ Non-Isolated Thermocouple Layer (ENTB) measures temperatures on 32-channels of non-isolated thermocouple signal conditioning. Thermocouples come in several styles of dissimilar metals, or calibrations; and the ELNTB is compatible with the four most common calibration types (J, K, T and E). Each channel is individually software-selectable between these calibrations. | | ELBAT-2 eDAQ-lite Battery Layer The SoMat eDAQ-lite Battery Layer (ELBAT-2) is located below the eDAQ-lite in a machined aluminum enclosure. It attaches with four 8-32 screws to the base plate of the eDAQ-lite replacing the rubber feet. The feet can be relocated to the battery layer for mounting purposes. A short cable, with the eDAQ D-Sub power connector, connects to the eDAQ-lite and is also utilized for charging purposes. | | ELBRG eDAQ-lite Bridge Layer The SoMat eDAQ-lite Bridge Layer (ELBRG) offers four simultaneously sampled low level differential analog inputs through independent connectors. An extremely versatile layer; the Bridge Board works with both amplified and unamplified transducers including: strain gauges, accelerometers, pressure transducers, load cells, and other general analog signals. | | ELCPU eDAQ-lite Base Processor The SoMat eDAQ-lite Base Processor (ELCPU) is the foundation eDAQ-lite systems are built from. Specifically designed for rugged, mobile applications; input power for the system operates in a wide range from 10-60 VDC (with ELCPU-PLUS option). Internal back-up batteries also protect the eDAQ-lite from unplanned power losses or low voltage events. | | ELDIO eDAQ-lite Digital Input-Output Layer The SoMat eDAQ-lite Digital Input/Output Layer (ELDIO) is an extremely versatile layer that can measure digital inputs/outputs, pulse counters, quadrature decoders, vehicle bus, as well as GPS. The ELDIO offers eight channels that can be used as digital inputs/outputs with four additional channels for wide range inputs. | | ELHLS eDAQ-lite Simultaneous High Level Layer The SoMat eDAQ-lite Simultaneous High Level Layer (ELHLS) offers 4 simultaneously sampled high-level differential analog inputs through independent connectors. Up to eight ELHLS layers can be added to a single eDAQ-lite system enabling up to 32 channels. Networking multiple eDAQ’s make synchronous ELHLS channel counts virtually limitless. | | ELNTB eDAQ-lite Non-Isolated Thermocouple Layer The SoMat eDAQ-lite Non-Isolated Thermocouple Layer (ELNTB) measures temperatures on 16-channels of non-isolated thermocouple signal conditioning. Thermocouples come in several styles of dissimilar metals, or calibrations; and the ELNTB is compatible with the four most common calibration types (J, K, T and E). |
