The Interface Minibeam Strain Gage load cells are now available with MR
coating as a cost effective method of protecting 25 thru 250 Ib load
cells from high humidity conditions (up to and including 95% Relative
Humidity) and periodic exposure to condensation. These units are not

Sealed Super Beam (SSB) Load Cells are precision strain gauge load
cells designed for use in all weather, and in washdown environments. 
Rugged, durable, reliable SSB Series Load Cells are excellent for use
in batching plants, scale pits, and other out-of-doors weighing and
testing applications.

Due to the compact sizes of the SSB Series Load Cells, they are ideally
suited for applications where vertical clearance is limited.  Sealed
Super Beam load cells are compensated for the effects of temperature so
that unwanted zero and output variations are minimized.  Capability to
withstand relatively high side loads which can be applied
simultaneously with axial rated load simplifies the mechanical
considerations of installation.  The high output of 3mV/V provides easy
interfacing to signal conditioning electronics.  SSB load cells have
through holes in both inactive and active ends, permitting a variety of
convenient mechanical attachments to mounts and loads.  Both single and
multiple cell installations are popular in a variety of weighing, test
and process control applications.

INTERFACE load cells with their dual diaphragms are innately
compensated against barometric pressure when the exterior underside is
vented.  Most sealed column cells, however, are not so compensated and
venting the interior of the cell provides compensation at the expense
of the hermetic seal.
