| ||Solenoids - Flapper|
|Our flapper solenoids are a special electro-mechanical assembly that incorporates a hinged flapper plate that is attracted to the solenoid coil when energised. When the coil is de-energised, release springs attached to the plate are utilized to return it to it's original position. These solenoids provide a high performance over a short stroke, and various custom options can be incorporated to suit OEM requirements.|
| ||Solenoids - Holding Magnets|
|The MM and GM series of holding magnets covers a wide range of power and size with a choice of versions from the smallest, a 20mm diameter version that provides a holding force of 140N, up to the largest that is 95mm in diameter and has a holding force of 1200N. The MM and GM series are highly cost-effective and durable and are ideal for holding components in place in the manufacturing and printing industries and are suitable for any application that requires a magnetic force to be applied while a current is supplied to the unit.
| ||Solenoids - Latching|
|Our latching solenoids utilize a permanent magnet in conjunction with the solenoid coil to maintain the position of the plunger with no current applied. The latching solenoid can perform push, pull, hold and release operations with only an instantaneous pulse of current, thus offering a significant power-saving efficiency and maximum life. Latching solenoids are also found in bi-directional magnetic latching open frame versions. These models electromechanically power the load in both directions, and hold it magnetically latched in either position indefinitely, without power. These features make a latching solenoid ideally suited to continuous duty applications, since even without power, the armature and load will remain latched in the energized position. Applications for latching solenoids include automatic door closers, locks, latching mechanisms, medical equipment, security devices, and battery powered equipment.|

| ||Solenoids - Open Frame|
|The open frame solenoid is the simplest solenoid design. It uses an open metal frame, a taped or overmoulded coil, and a movable plunger in the centre of the coil. Open frame solenoids are more cost effective than other solenoid types, and are typically selected for applications in which extremely long life and precise positioning are not so critical. Open frame solenoids are available in two frame styles: the C Frame [or U Frame] style, in which the coil is enclosed on one side; and the D Frame [or Box Frame] style where the coil is enclosed on two sides. Open frame solenoids are generally secured by mounting screws through a panel in the application and threaded into the solenoid’s frame.
| ||Solenoids - Tubular|
|Our tubular (or cylindrical) solenoids are a popular choice for applications that require a compact size with performance that matches or exceeds the larger open frame [C and D frame] solenoid designs for a given size. The tubular solenoid is more magnetically efficient due to the coil being enclosed by a high permeable steel tubular case to minimize magnetic flux leakage and maximize performance. We are also able to supply custom heavy duty tubular solenoid designs up to Ø100mm with 100N force at 50mm stroke.|
